BDO Indigenous Cadetship 2019

The BDO Indigenous Cadetship is program that will provide QUT students with work experience in their field of study. It is a placement program that will run for 12 months. The placement program is designed for students to balance work and study. They will be required to work 1 – 2 days per week. Upon completion of the program, employment for students will be possible.

Within the BDO Indigenous Cadetship, you will be engaged in trainings and development programs. Coaching, one-to-one mentoring, flexible work options, and health and well-being benefits are also provided.

Upon receiving of the cadetship, you will enter a binding agreement with Oodgeroo Unit at QUT and will be given specific conditions. The conditions are maintaining a grade point average of 4.0 and communication with the Oodgeroo Unit, submitting results and confirmation of continued enrolment promptly at the end of each semester, delay for no more than 12 months during the study period, attend ceremonies and give consent to photographs being taken for the purposes of promotional activities.
